Learning to See Again

Who knew that getting a new pair of glasses -- bifocals, admittedly -- would necessitate training your brain to see again?

Life is ever a discovery.

  5. you are better off picking up one of those books on eye exercises so you can ditch the glasses in the long term.

  6. I had the same experience with porescription sunglasses I use for driving. Oh my God! The whole new world!

  7. I wear trifocals. It was a bit of a change, learning how to tilt my head to get the right portion of my glasses in the right place. Now I do it without thinking.

  8. That'll be me pretty soon (bifocals or at least reading glasses to supplement my everyday glasses). Right now it's a continual litany of glasses on, glasses off ...
